These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://ctco.theyijing.com and your purchase of products from Chinese Traditional Cultural Ornaments.

By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Site or place an order.

You may not use the Site or purchase products for an unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

2. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.
• Interfere with the Site’s security or operation.
• Introduce malware or harmful code.
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system or account.
• Copy, scrape or commercially exploit Site content without permission.
• Use the Site to engage in fraud, abuse or unlawful resale activity.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, customers or our legal rights.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to present products accurately. However:

• Colors may vary according to lighting, photography and display settings.
• Natural materials may vary in color, grain, texture, pattern, size and appearance.
• Ceramic firing and finishing may result in reasonable variations.
• Hand-finished details may differ slightly between individual pieces.
• Dimensions and weights may be approximate.

Product-specific descriptions will identify the principal material. Products may include natural obsidian and, where stated in the relevant product description, natural cinnabar or cinnabar-powder composite materials.

Please review the individual product description before ordering. These reasonable variations are not normally considered defects.

4. Cultural and Symbolic Meaning

Our zodiac designs and traditional cultural motifs are offered for cultural appreciation, decoration, collecting and gifting.

Descriptions of symbolism, blessings, fortune or traditional meaning are cultural and artistic references only. Our products do not guarantee luck, wealth, health, protection or any other spiritual, financial or personal result.

Nothing on the Site constitutes medical, financial, religious or professional advice.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order.

We may refuse, limit or cancel an order where reasonably necessary because of:

• Product unavailability.
• Incorrect product or pricing information.
• Payment failure.
• Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity.
• Shipping or legal restrictions.
• An incorrect or incomplete delivery address.

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.

6. Prices and Currency

The Site may display prices in a localized currency based on your IP address, location, selected region or currency preferences.

Exchange rates may change. The final product price, shipping charge, currency and applicable taxes shown at checkout will control.

Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or similar government charges.

We may correct genuine pricing or description errors before accepting an order. If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact you before proceeding or cancel and refund the order.

7. Payment

We accept:

• PayPal.
• Bank transfer by prior arrangement.

For bank-transfer instructions, contact info@theqimen.com. Do not send funds until we confirm the applicable order details and payment instructions.

Bank-transfer orders are not confirmed or processed until cleared funds have been received. The customer is responsible for bank charges and currency-conversion fees unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Cancellation and Address Changes

You may request cancellation or an address change within 48 hours after placing the order and before dispatch, whichever occurs first.

We cannot guarantee that a request will be completed once processing has begun. Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled and will be subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

9. Shipping

Shipping destinations, processing times, delivery estimates, charges, tracking, customs responsibilities and delivery issues are governed by our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

10. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

A return must be approved before it is shipped. The return address will be provided by email after approval.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Thirty-Day Limited Product Warranty

We provide a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for 30 days after delivery.

To make a claim, contact us within the warranty period and provide:

• Your order number.
• A description of the issue.
• Clear photographs or other reasonable evidence.

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Accidental damage, impact or breakage.
• Misuse, neglect or improper storage.
• Water, chemical or heat damage.
• Unauthorized repair, alteration or modification.
• Loss of the product or its components.
• Natural variations in color, grain, texture or pattern.
• Reasonable differences between product photography and actual appearance.

If a valid warranty claim is confirmed, we may provide a repair, replacement or refund, subject to product availability and applicable law.

This limited warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, mandatory statutory rights.

12. Product Care and Use

Customers are responsible for following any product-specific care and safety instructions.

Products containing small components should be kept away from children and pets. Do not ingest, burn, grind or intentionally break product materials. Discontinue use and contact us if a product becomes damaged in a way that may make it unsafe.

13. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content—including logos, product photographs, text, graphics, designs, videos and page layouts—are owned by or licensed to HYRD Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the Site only for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. No content may be reproduced, distributed, modified, sold or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to or integrate with services operated by third parties, including payment, delivery and social media providers.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, content or services. Your use of them may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

15. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the Site will always be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components. We may temporarily suspend or change parts of the Site for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HYRD Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the Site or purchase of a product.

Where liability cannot be excluded but may lawfully be limited, our total liability relating to a claim will not exceed the amount paid for the product or order giving rise to that claim.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

17. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably outside our control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, war, civil disturbance, government action, customs delays, carrier disruption, labor disputes, utility failures or internet outages.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effects of such events.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Subject to mandatory consumer rights, the courts of Hong Kong SAR will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or purchases made through the Site.

If the laws of your country provide mandatory consumer protections, those protections remain unaffected.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective. The affected provision will be interpreted or modified only to the minimum extent necessary.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our products, services, business practices or legal obligations change.

Updated Terms will be posted on the Site with a revised “Last Updated” date. Changes will not retroactively alter an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
